Dr. Polanka, born in 1982, specializes, after graduating from the Medical Faculty of the Charles University in Pilsen, in surgery. In 2011, he completed the basic surgical strain and in 2014 he gained the postgraduate certification - specialized competence in the field of surgery. Since 2007 he worked in surgical department of Mulač Hospital in Pilsen, and since 2012 he works in surgical department of the University Hospital in Pilsen, specializing in mammology and oncosurgery.
In addition to regular attendance to professional courses and conferences (e.g. Mastectomy from the perspective of subsequent reconstruction performance, 2015) he has been an external lecturer at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen since 2011.
