I just wanted to express how grateful I am for all your support regarding my surgery in September. The staff at aestea were amazing, so kind and caring and really made my short stay enjoyable.
I am now ten weeks post op and this weekend I wore a skirt for the first time in nearly ten years! I can’t even put into words the confidence Dr. Polanka gave me! I have a vacation planned for February and bought some shorts to wear, again this will be a first for me in almost ten years.
I’m even looking forward to summer next year, although I used to dread it, covering my legs because I was so shy and uncomfortable in the warmer weather. My legs are lighter and I’m running and working out at the gym again, I haven’t noticed any pain when exercising, whereas before the surgery I struggled with longer runs and walks because my legs were so tired and heavy.
I honestly can’t thank you all enough, the surgery has truly changed my life!
